RW - Nathalie & Jake at Cancun, Mexico

Around 10 days ago, Kenneth and Elaine, International Destination Wedding Photographers, sent me this awesome wedding from Playa del Carmen in Tulum, Mexico, on the south side of Cancun.  They are a married couple that photograph couples on their special day.  Kinda of cool.....and their work is just sensational...


Now the couple photographed is Nathalie and Jake, which I might add are easy on the eyes  had a spectacular gown trashed session.  Great wedding, great location.  For more on this wedding please visit the blog.

RW - Yumari & Carlos, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Ok, this wedding touches my heart because it comes from a special place, you see half of my family is from the Dominican Republic, from my father's side.  I just Love Love Love the island.  Since it is a just a 45 minute flight from San Juan I get to go around 9 to 10 times a year.  For those of you that have yet to experience it, I strongly encourage you to first visit the eastern coast and experience a five star all inclusive hotel, then come back and rummage through its capital, Santo Domingo.

Now to the wedding!! I will permanently have a resource section on the blog especially for couples that want to do a Destination Wedding in this part of the Caribbean.   Our first resource will be super talented photographer Roger Ramirez.  This is a two part session taken place in Santo Domingo's colonial zone.  The reception was held at El Museo de las Casas Reales which will immediately give a Spanish colonial feel.   Enjoy the culture.....

RW - Michelle and Clay, NY

First wedding of December and it took place in a great city. New York City no less.  The wedding colors are stunning, gorgeous mauve again...
Beautiful couple, Michelle and Clay took some great photos in busy New York and everything was captured by the talented documentary wedding photojournalist Gulnara of Gulnara Studio.  Her work is so stunning that she has been nominated for a Pulitzer and best of all if you are planning a destination wedding here in Puerto Rico she won't charge you an extra fee!!  Check out more of her work in her blog.
